The Luna Moth is the mystical new addition to our insect family. She is hand painted and shaded with underglaze. After the second firing she is then gilded with 2 different lustres, a dreamy mother of pearl and with golden highlights on top. Although a small piece, the luna moth is certainly one of the most striking specimens in the ceramic collection, and is one of the longerst and hardest to sculp and paint. She is truely beautiful and captivating.
